Papa CJ, a renowned comedian, visited his alma mater, The Lawrence School of Sanawar, on Wednesday. He interacted with senior students of the school and discussed the topic of leadership. At the programme, organised under the aegis of “Imagine and Inspire”, the comedian, while encouraging students to follow their passion, cautioned them that in order to follow their passion, financial independence is most important to achieve. “Passion does not feed your stomach but your soul,” he said. Sharing his life experiences and learnings, Papa CJ, who was the head boy of the school in 1994, encouraged the students to define for themselves their meaning of happiness and success.

Teachers meet Edu Director

Members of the Himachal Pradesh Teachers’ Association met Education Director Pankaj Lalit and demanded that Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), who have completed two years in service, should be regularised. Other demands of the association included increase of promotion date from JBT to TGT from May 15 to 31, removal of clause 9, granting casual leave to SMCs, provision of cashless facility in case of medical emergencies, etc.

Awareness rally on traffic rules

A rally was taken out by teachers and students of the Government Senior Secondary School, Khalini, to raise awareness about road safety and traffic rules among locals. To make people aware, the participants raised slogans about traffic rules.
